Employment

Non-Medical Transportation RVI’s transportation service allows all area individuals who have developmental disabilities to have more opportunity to work in and enjoy their communities, including in coordination with some of our other offerings. Through a robust series of community connections, RVI has, for more than 40 years, provided employment opportunities for adults with disabilities. We can coordinate a series of jobs for the individuals we serve – offering a combination of retail, outdoor, production, and work at our employment and habilitation center – and those opportunities can evolve as the person’s skills, goals, and life evolve. We will work with the agencies involved to layer and combine services and funding to help each individual have the life he or she wants to have. At RVI, a Services Coordinator provides training to all the direct support professionals who work with that individual, so those staff members can provide consistent encouragement toward the goals outlined in the service plan.
